The site's appearance

Drupal CMS offers many templates (so-called themes), which can be further modified (practically as you wish, almost „beyond recognition“). The templates differ, above all, in their basic layout. Even so, it is often possible to choose from various layouts on one theme. After you select a certain template, it is possible to further change, for example, the background and images, the fonts used, including their size and color, and such.

The catalogue and magazine of the website my-family.cz can serve as an example. They are based on the same theme (Garland) and they differ only in the palette of colors used:

www.katalog.my-family.czwww.katalog.my-family.cz

www.magazin.my-family.czwww.magazin.my-family.cz

You can look at several themes directly on the site where you are right now by means of the menu „Switch theme“ (in the left or right sidebar, depending on which theme you are actually using). Simply choose from the list of themes and press the „Switch“ button. These are only examples; the complete list of available templates is much more extensive. As already stated, there are almost no limits to the possibilities.

You can find a list of the free Drupal templates (themes) on http://drupal.org/project/Themes.
